Donald Trump: Presidential Apprentice?
Posted by Tyler Mills in TelevisionDonald Trump is scheduled to be one of the moderators of the next GOP presidential debate as a part of a NewsMax event. The star of the show The Apprentice has done quite a job in telling the different presidential candidates out there exactly what he thanks of their campaigns and whether they are a true contender or pretender for the GOP presidential nomination.
Jon Huntsman is one candidate who has already decided not to come to the event, the event is being held in Iowa where the former Utah Governor is not actively campaigning. Jon Huntsman and Donald Trump had a war of words months ago about whether Huntsman’s campaign had asked for a meeting from Trump’s staff.
I am sure that Trump was using some of his Apprentice language in order to decide whether or not Jon Huntsman is a truly capable candidate. Trump would probably say that the chemical company that Huntsman was involved with to be absolute garbage. Trump would also say that Huntsman helped ruin the country with his lack of leadership as Ambassador to China in the Obama Administration.
I know people like to see a lot of snipping and fighting on The Apprentice. The fact that former United States Senator Rick Santorum has been so willing to draw contrasts between his opponents could make Santorum the Omarosa of the GOP presidential field; truly this is an apt comparison. Omarosa is a known Democrat, it would be hard to say what exactly she would think of the GOP field and some of Mr. Trump’s stated political positions.
Michelle Bachmann hopes to stand out from the crowd as a woman, she hopes to have success similar to what fashion critic and comedian Joan Rivers had on Celebrity Apprentice. It is hard to say what exactly Joan Rivers would think of that comparison with Michelle Bachmann. Entertainer and mega Vegas businessman Wayne Newton has already endorsed Michelle Bachmann’s presidential candidacy.
