John Starks is someone who could be played by Donald Faison for example. Faison spent many years on Scrubs and he has played with credibility during the time that he has appeared in different celebrity basketball games. Jeff Van Gundy could play himself in a sitcom about Patrick Ewing since Van Gundy has been able to find a coaching job that suits his fancy in the National Basketball Association.

Chris Dudley could help finance any production costs that it would take to make sure the sitcom worked well. Dudley has a background in finance and he could create a fair amount of income for different people who would be involved in a Patrick Ewing related sitcom. Ewing is a great guy who would potentially have an interesting story to tell through a sitcom. Ewing and the New York Knicks of the 1990s would be a great story to tell. Who would play Charles Oakley in the sitcom for example?

A shorter person may not be inspired by the fact that Patrick Ewing made it to the NBA, but they could inspiration in the fact that Chris Childs was able to make it to the NBA for example. Childs was another interesting guy who ended up on some of these Knicks teams in the late 1990’s. I would be very interested to see who would be hired to play a guy like Chris Dudley and whether there would be any scene on the show like the time Dudley got into a fight with Shaq when Shaq was playing for the Lakers and Dudley was playing for the Knicks.

Oliver Stone is someone who consistently has had an underlying political message in many of his films and this is not going to change. Wall Street was meant to pander to people who think there is too much influence peddling in the halls of power, many people are now writing articles on whether or not there are too many millionaires in Congress. Wall Street 2 was definitely not a film that gave people a lot of hope if you believe that wealthy people made their money in a very honest way.

A book like Richistan may have done more to humanize some people who are extremely wealthy and successful. A successful venture capitalist who would be most likely in Oliver Stone’s films and other ventures is likely to face criticism from a director like Oliver Stone. Wall Street Money Never Sleeps was able to pull in one hundred and thirty five million dollars, the money is probably not as high as some people would have liked. Some people may have thought that the plot of the film was simply too predictable.

Tim Allen certainly had a successful career in film and with his stand up career, but the fact that he has one of the highest rated shows on Tuesday nights in 2012 Is quite an accomplishment in my book. Some would say that it would be more impressive if the cast of Last Man Standing were able to compete in the ratings with all of the different Thursday night shows out there, but that Thursday lineup is so brutal.

Hector Elizondo may be a bit of a break out star on the show. Elizondo is the person that Tim Allen’s character confides in. Mike Baxter is the name of Tim Allen’s character on the show and he does with Ed Alzate (Elizondo’s character) the trials and tribulations of raising a teenage daughter and making sure that his family has some of the same opportunities that he had when he was a kid. I personally like the character of Mike Baxter and I don’t think the character forces Allen to stray to far out of his element. It is interesting to see that Allen still seems to enjoy acting and reportedly still enjoys the dynamics of a sitcom.

It takes skill to be a great broadcaster. A lot of people out there were critical of some of the work that Scottie Pippen did at ABC. Scottie has had a lot of trouble in the past with bad investments so people really should take it easy on Scottie Pippen given the stress that he has been under.

People look for different ways to improve ratings for a lot of different sports shows out there. ESPN has to focus on things like how to make sure that they keep content fresh. I still cannot figure out why they have the show NFL Live on ESPN every single day. Trey Wingo and people like Teddy Bruschi do everything they can to make sure people who are watching them on the tube do remain interested, it would be hard to get new content out there with the likes of the NFL Network and Rich Eisen constantly putting out new information on their shows.

It will be interesting to see exactly how things will evolve with a lot of these different conferences getting their own network. A person who works at ESPN may be able to find a better opportunity somewhere else. Several ESPN anchors have moved on to the MLB Network and the Big Ten Network. I really do enjoy watching most of the programming on the Big Ten Network.

I have always thought there was enough of a marketplace out for more sports news channels.
Mark May is also someone who draws the ire of fans of the network ESPN. The fact that so many people are critical of May would make you wonder whether sports fans are just automatically going to be critical of any analyst who shows up on the network. Network television is a great place to be a sports analyst if you are able to develop a certain following. Television viewers certainly seemed to like the analysis that Rick Majerus offered when he was at ESPN.
A network should always try to find someone with a great personality. Lou Holtz is someone who a lot of people may grow tired of, but he does bring a lot of enthusiasm. I tend to favor a guy like Dan Patrick who isn’t an analysts per se because he only played college basketball, but his analysis generally happens to be straight on. Patrick did play some college basketball at Eastern Kentucky. Eastern Kentucky is a good school by many accounts, but I do not know if they have a great broadcasting program.

It would also be interesting to see if Bono’s breakup could have any impact on his work as an activist. The Bono family does have a history working in activism. Sonny Bono originally considered running for office due to the fact that he struggled with the bureaucracy in his place of residence where he wanted to try to open a restaurant. Sonny Bono was of course a very successful singer/songwriter and many of the songs that he was involved made he and his family a lot of money. Could Sonny have had a lot of success without Cher?
The truth is that he would not have found much success as an entertainer without his ex-wife. Chaz Bono is very willing to lend his family name to the different social causes that she believes in, even when those views run contrary to the positions that his father may have espoused. There had to be a lot of stress on Chaz’s relationship with his girlfriend when the two allowed cameras into their home to broadcast a show on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

The Oprah Winfrey Network has been struggling, but many people out there assume that Bono was paid well for the documentary, the money may not have been enough to end up saving Chaz’s engagement.

A person who wants to criticize Chaz Bono for his lifestyle choices has a right to do that, but it is also fair to live and let live in certain situations. There are a lot of people out there who criticized Chaz and this likely put a lot of stress on his relationship.

The at risk youth out there are in need of help, this is true in the state of Indiana and it is true everywhere. Rupert’s celebrity may be what the kids need in order to draw attention to their causes.
Many people are going to note how Boston Rob was able to parlay his time on Survivor into a professional poker career. A person who spends a lot of time on a reality show may not think that people would take them seriously when it comes to Indiana’s budget proposals and the need to privatize some of the mental health services that the state offers.

It will be interesting to see whether Hoosiers would rather see Rupert Boneham on the History Channel, like Rob Mariano will be or they will give him a serious shot to try to be Governor of Indiana. There may be some interesting political advertisements created because of his candidacy. A candidate needs to be honest with people and admit that the world of Survivor has its pluses and minuses.

A public relations executive has to make sure that a guy like Kobe Bryant does not have much negative press come out about him during this divorce process. A divorce is something that can ruin a person’s potential entertainment career if a lot of bad rumors come out about some, facts can also be a dangerous thing as well. A lot of stars out there simply have their divorce records sealed.
Kobe has largely been able to recover from the rape allegations in Colorado that he faced a number of years ago. I have read that he slept with one hundred and five women over the time of his marriage. I think it is useless to speculate on such things, but I think that is more points than former number one overall pick in the NBA Draft, Michael Olowokandi had in his entire NBA career. Bryant has had a shoe contract with two major companies.
Kobe did recently sign an endorsement deal with Turkish Airlines. Kobe is still one of the highest paid athletes in the world, he has been able to whether a few storms of controversy in the past. The truth is that the criticism that Phil Jackson wrote in his book about him may be more damaging to Kobe than his divorce to Vanessa Bryant.

Christopher Hitchens was a person who generally focused on political issues and figures in his writing. A number of stars happen to really like the work that Christopher Hitchens did in the magazine Vanity Fair. Hitch 22 was a book that he was promoting on the Daily Show the same day that Hitchens found out about his cancer. I am sure that Hitchens lost some support from the Hollywood types. It is interesting that Hitchens died shortly after the official end of the Iraq War. Christopher Hitchens may have lost some former supporters of his over his fierce criticism of Mother Teresa. Mother Teresa is someone who absolutely adored by so many different people.

Hitchens was not afraid to appear on several television shows. The television shows that Christopher Hitchens appeared on included the Al Franken Show and the Heckler.

Hitchens was a known critic of Rev. Jerry Falwell. Falwell was someone who became a bit of a celebrity preacher before his death. Hitchens himself was an outspoken atheist who appeared on a number of talk shows, he may have debated a celebrity like Stephen Baldwin in the past. There are a lot of people who were quite shocked by the fact that a Baldwin brother could end up being outspoken about their faith. Stephen Baldwin is someone who has been a number of successful films. Baldwin also took the time to protest things like an adult bookstore in the state of New York. It is likely that Christopher Hitchens would have called Baldwin a religious fascist for opposing an adult bookstore on moral grounds.
