Glee Season 2 Episode 9 Preview

In the last episode of Glee, Sue Sylvester’s mom, Doris, a retired Nazi hunter, showed up in town after many years away, forcing some revelations in the family. Sam Evans confessed his love for Quinn, expressing his plans to marry her someday and giving her a promise ring. Kurt’s father Burt and Finn’s mother Carole suddenly announced their plans to get married, while the Kurt-Karofsky issue spiraled out of control.

The entire story line revolved greatly around family issues, captivating over 10 million viewers in the United States. The result was a rating of 4.0 for adults 18 to 49 years old.

In the next episode, New Directions will perform at Sectionals against strong competitors, the Warren Township Hipsters and Dalton Academy’s Warblers, which boasted of their newest singer, Kurt. Meanwhile, relationship problems will arise between dentist Carl Howell and guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury, and also between Finn and Rachel. Finn and Kurt suddenly find themselves becoming brothers following their respective parents’ marriage from last episode.

A possible future development for the show is the return of Sunshine Corazon, played by Charice Pempengco, the character who was swirled away by Vocal Adrenaline. Unfortunately, the 18-year-old singer refused to reveal details of when the foreign exchange student character will show up again.

“I can’t say what the story’s going to be,” she teased, although she hinted that the return might happen by January, while telling the interviewers just to wait and see.

“We just don’t know if she’s coming back to the glee club [New Directions] or if she’s staying with Vocal Adrenaline,” she elaborates. She also remains quiet about whether the returning student will have a new love interest.
