Greg Kinnear To Appear On Modern Family

Greg Kinnear is likely to appear on Modern Family. The former Talk Soup host who has also had a successful movie career is likely to play Phil’s business partner on the show. Phil Dumphy is starting his own real estate firm on the show Modern Family and it will be interesting to see exactly what dynamic Greg Kinnear will bring to the show on a guest starring basis. Kinnear typically has been playing fairly straight laced characters even during the times when he has appeared in comedic films.
Greg Kinnear is someone who has had very successful role in the movie Little Miss Sunshine and As Good As It Gets. I personally remember him playing the role of former Philadelphia Eagles coach Dick Vermeil in the film Invincible. I think most people do tend to forget the comedic role that Kinnear played in a film such as You’ve Got Mail.
I am a sports fan so I thought Kinnear did fairly well in the role of Dick Vermeil I tend to remember Dick Vermeil in his older days with the St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs so maybe I wasn’t the best sports fan to properly judge the job Greg Kinnear did in that film.
Claire Dumphy, played by Julie Bowen is going to interact with Kinnear’s character on the show. I would venture that say that Phil’s new business partner will try to put some romantic moves on Claire. It will be interesting to see if Phil Dumphy will catch on to the people who are hitting on his wife and whether this will impact his career and business decisions.

I can say for sure that I will be looking forward to more episode of Modern Family. I certainly hope that the Greg Kinnear guest spot goes well. A lot of people will be watching the show with a critical eye to see how it goes.
