Actor Harrison Ford is a busy man, this does not mean that he cannot take time out for humanitarian causes. Harrison Ford and so many other celebrities understand the need to promote a healthier society.
The “Got Milk?” campaign is something that has gained a lot of popularity over the years.
Harrison Ford wanted to be a part of the campaign in order to promote the idea of people of all ages drinking their milk. There are other stars who have become a part of the latest “Got Milk?” push. Harrison got the “Got Milk?” organization to make a donation to some of his favorite charities in exchange for the appearance.
Operation Smile is reportedly the organization who is going to benefit the most from Harrison Ford’s willingness to appear in the campaign. Moviegoers should always keep in mind the work that many of these stars do for charitable organizations.
Harrison Ford is a known entity when it comes to charitable giving. He has been a significant donor to Conservation International which protects different environmental treasures around the world. Harrison Ford is also involved with Peace over Violence which is related to combating domestic violence in the Los Angeles area.
Ford wants to let people know that one extra serving of milk will almost get people all of the nutrients that they need on a daily basis. Harrison Ford who is best known for the early “Stars Wars” and the “Indiana Jones” franchise is likely being picked for the ads to appeal to baby boomers.
Harrison Ford has been in some recent films such as “Cowboys and Aliens”, but the “Got Milk? Organization is using people like actress/singer Jennifer Hudson to appeal to a younger demographic.
Physicians around the country are hopefully going to applaud Jennifer Hudson and Harrison Ford for their efforts. The advertisements are appearing in the United States.
