Can’t get enough of the foul-mouthed Les Grossman’s dance moves at the recently concluded MTV Movie Awards? Well, here’s news for you. Chances are Tom Cruise will once again portray Tropic Thunder’s Hollywood producer character in an upcoming comedy flick. The movie mogul, known for his ruthless business ethics and verbal abuse, finally makes a big screen comeback.

Paramount Pictures, in cooperation with MTV films, stated in a press release Wednesday that a comedy closing in on Les Grossman, played by Tom Cruise in 2008’s Tropic Thunder, is currently in progress. Negotiations for the role have not yet been settled, but reports have it that Cruise will be working on the project as a producer along with Ben Stiller, who also starred in Tropic, and Stuart Cornfield of Red Hour Films, whilst screenwriter Michael Bacall, of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, will pen the script.

“Les Grossman’s life story is an inspiring tale of the classic human struggle to achieve greatness against all odds,” Stiller said, honored to be working with Grossman. “He has assured me he plans to, quote, ‘F—ing kill the sh– out of this movie and make “Citizen f—ing Kane” look like a piece-of-crap home movie by the time we are done.’

“Everything I learned in this business, I’ve learned from Les. I started out as his assistant, and from the first day he threw his desk at me when I got his lunch order wrong, I have loved him like a father. I am forever grateful to Ben and Stuart Cornfield and their ability to secure his highly coveted life rights,” Paramount Film Group President Adam Goodman chimed in.
