Twilight: Eclipse
After sweeping the MTV Movie Awards and making the Twi-hards (or Twilighters, as some people collectively call the Twilight aficionados) go gaga over that awkward kiss, Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart sure are going to invade the big screen again come June 30.
Lead actor Pattinson couldn’t help but be in awe at how well their fortune has changed and how much they are loved by the pop culture-ized teens and tweens. “It’s crazy. For it to have accelerated so quickly”, said the superstar upon receiving the award for the Best Male Performance and Global Superstar. “I should have done a more coherent speech for the Global thing,” Pattinson added.
Twilight: Eclipse delves deeper into the love triangle between Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson), and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) as the Cullen clan of vampires and the werewolf pack join forces to battle an emerging breed of blood-sucking creatures. Penned by Melissa Rosenberg, based on Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling novel, and directed by David Slade, the film will be released by Summit Entertainment.
Fans certainly are marking their calendars already for the upcoming installment of the hit vampire franchise. Much to their delight, they were treated to an exclusive preview at the MTV Movie Awards.
