Mermaid Fox, anyone?
Disappointed at Megan Fox’s removal in the third installment of Transformers 3? Well, you now have a reason to cheer up.
The sultry Fox is reported to be in negotiations to join Oscar-nominee Johnny Depp and Academy Award winner Penelope Cruz in the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
It is said that Disney chiefs are on the hunt for an actress to play a sexy mermaid in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which is opening next year, and a newly-unemployed Fox is eager to land the role.
“Megan is mulling over a number of big movie offers including another sci-fi franchise and a role in the next Pirates of the Caribbean,” an informant told Britain’s Daily Mirror Wednesday. “She would play a mermaid who charms Captain Jack but she has a dark motive.”
Megan Fox has had a dream for a very long time of being teamed up with Depp in something and she has wanted to work with him for awhile now. She is glad that the Transformers helped her to have a positive name but she wants to go beyond that and into something else now.
Former Pirates stars Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom jumped ship on the series late last year. So now looking forward to the Johnny Depp-Megan Fox team-up is a must.
