Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds together again on the big screen

The Proposal
Recently winning an Oscar for her portrayal on The Blind Side, Sandra Bullock is back on the block with a new action-comedy flick with The Proposal screen partner Ryan Reynolds.
Tentatively titled Most Wanted, the story revolves around Bullock, a criminal suspect, and Reynolds, an FBI agent who is supposed to be escorting her to court. Just then, the two are ambushed and are compelled to go on the run.
Penned by Pete Chiarelli, a former MGM executive, the pitch had originally been in the hands of Disney, the company that made The Proposal. Then again, due to some management changes it had to give up the project. Late last week, Universal Pictures finally acquired Most Wanted. Reports have it that the studio shelled out $1 million for the project after winning a bidding over four other parties.
Anne Fletcher, who was The Proposal director and is currently developing Enchanted 2 for Disney, is in negotiations to direct Most Wanted.
The project, described as having a similar attitude to that of Midnight Run, Universal’s 1988 action comedy, will be produced by Mandeville Films’ Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman. Meanwhile, Reynolds and Jonathon Komack-Martin will executive produce the project through Dark Trick Films.
