Out with the old, in with the new.

Bad news for fans: Megan Fox, Shia LeBeouf’s sultry love interest in the first two Transformers movies, has been dropped from the third installment of Michael Bay’s series.

Paramount Pictures, which released the first two movies, refused to give further details as to Fox’s removal.

Which is why a number of rumors ensued. The first one is that Fox was reportedly too skinny. Online reports have it that she showed up on the Transformers 3 set looking “pale”, “underweight” and “unhealthy” spurring an argument with director Michael Bay and her leaving the franchise.

The second is that Fox’s relationship with Bay was allegedly tumultuous, therefore, leading her into leaving the franchise.

And now it appears that Megan Fox already has a replacement. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, a Victoria’s Secret model, has officially been offered the part after winning the approval of executive producer Steven Spielberg. The 23-year-old British model has exactly zero acting experience, aside from Victoria’s Secret’s fashion shows and a one-time appearance on Britain’s Next Top Model.

“Transformers” from 2007 and the 2009 sequel “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” have made over $1.5 billion worldwide. Let’s see what will become of the third part at the absence of Fox and the introduction of Huntington-Whiteley.
