Eclipse
Excitement mounts as Twilight nears its premiere; roughly 550 Twilighters camp out since Sunday night in the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles just to catch an eyeful of their favorite stars from the latest flick in the vampire romance franchise.
Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Kristen Stewart will not be in the venue until Thursday night, but the diehard fans, who were largely comprised by the females, thrive on the concrete plaza of the theater with blankets, umbrellas, tents, and cardboard cut-outs of the stars.
“It’s just worth seeing all the stars. They bring the characters that we love so much to life, so we want to see them in person and cheer them on,” said an unemployed graphic designer Twilighter who came all the way from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
The first two Twilight films made over $1.1 billion combined at box offices worldwide, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which opens June 30 starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, is widely anticipated to be one of this year’s biggest blockbusters.
