WWE Summerslam 2010 Preview
Posted by Hugh Gore in Television
Tonight WWE legends will reclaim RAW as they attempt to get rid of the rampage that has been Nexus through a 7 on 7 elimination tag team match. WWE Hall of Famer, Bret Hart will be joining Team WWE along with John Cena, Edge, Chris Jericho, John Morrison, R-Truth, and a surprise member. Team Nexus is led by Wade Barrett along with WWE NXT Rookies.
Although Team WWE is one man short, there is still a good chance that they will come out victorious in this match because they are the veterans of this sport. This match looks more like a plot to launch the careers of WWE NXT rookies and test out how much interest they can generate. Tonight will be the final exam of these rookies as they will share the ring with WWE’s most recognizeable names. Win or lose, these guys finally achieved their dream of main event glory in one of WWE’s major PPV events.
There are also a number of noteworthy matches that will happen tonight such as the match between Sheamus and Randy Orton. These two guys has had a serious rivalry and they both made sure that this match will go uninterrupted. The person who attempts to interfere in this match will be reportedly suspended. A familiar WWE Diva , Melina, is also set to return tonight as she faces WWE Women’s Champion Alicia Fox. Another match that is worth watching out for is Kane Vs Rey Mysterio for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. They faced each other a bunch of times before and most of the time Kane wins. There are also rumors circulating that ‘The Undertaker’ will return tonight. There’s a great chance that he will return on Summerslam and he will probably do it when Kane is about to pin Rey Mysterio.
This may not be as interesting as last year’s Summerslam but the thought of The Undertaker returning is always a turn on.
